    The colorful, straightforward hotel rooms come with free WiFi and TVs, as well as coffee-makers, mini-fridges and balconies with ocean views; some rooms add kitchenettes and pull-out sofas. Cottages are also available; most have kitchens, living and dining areas, and direct beach access.

    Lighthouse Point Park

    Lighthouse Point Park is at the southern tip of Ponce Inlet. The natural beauty of the undisturbed land has been preserved for all to enjoy. Dolphins frequent the shoreline, gopher tortoises can be found in sandy areas, and other wildlife (including raccoons, possums, skunks, armadillos, shore birds and birds of prey) can be observed.

    The Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Art is more than a traditional art museum. It is a history museum, with the history of Florida told through works of art. Now open, the Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Art will give visitors the opportunity to see a collection of Florida themed oil and watercolor paintings that date back to the early 1800's.

    Lilian Place Historic House

    Open for tours Wednesday through Monday, 1 - 4 p.m.

    Purchased by the Heritage Preservation Trust in 2009, Lilian Place was built in 1884 and is the oldest home on the beachside of Daytona Beach. A prime example of Italianate High Victorian architecture with its high ceilings, wood crown moldings and heart-of-pine floors. The house also has a "widow's walk" which is based on a New England design which allowed the wives of whalers to watch for their husbands returning from sea. Lucille, the mystery ghost of Lilian Place, has been causing mischief for over 100 years. Strange incidents have been rumored through the years including a woman dressed in white, laughing children, and a man resembling Stephen Crane, the famed author of the Open Boat.
